French Dip Max — Double-Meat French Dip

By EmmanPublished 2 min read
A French dip sub with roast beef and Swiss beside a cup of au jus.

The French Dip Max is the heavyweight version of one of Arby's most satisfying sandwiches. It takes the French Dip & Swiss — thin-sliced roast beef and melted Swiss on a toasted sub roll, served with a cup of au jus for dipping — and doubles the meat.

What's on the French Dip Max

The same components as the classic French Dip & Swiss, with twice the roast beef: a double portion of beef, melted Swiss cheese, a warm sub roll and au jus on the side. The standard French Dip & Swiss is about 540 calories, so the Max version runs meaningfully higher — this is a serious, two-handed sandwich.

How to order it

Ask for a French Dip & Swiss with double meat (some locations know it as the "Max"). You'll pay an upcharge for the extra beef, and it's a good idea to ask for an extra cup of au jus to keep up with the bigger sandwich.
